These two little cuties were just 12 days old, and as sweet as could be. At 5 and 6 lbs, they were teeny tiny and so incredibly perfect. It was quite an adventure getting to photograph them yesterday!

This is my fave, just so sweet.

Towards the end, Little E didn’t want to sleep anymore, while her brother was totally conked out. Here she is checkin her brother out…

Sweet baby boy L, who is usually the more fussy one, was totally content to sleep for us and have lots of individual portraits done. He must have loved the beanbag!

More of 6 day old Logan. He was meant to be a model, he was so good to me! I’m having a hard time choosing which images to edit from this session as there are so many great ones.

Unbelievably, he slept right through this!

Today I got the chance to meet 6 day old Logan who was the easiest baby I’ve ever photographed. He was so content, and allowed me to move him around without making a peep! After the first 15 minutes, he slept the entire time I was there. It doesn’t get much sweeter than this little guy, check him out.

This tugged at my heartstrings right when I saw it downloading. Look at those lips!

Mom, dad, it was great seeing you guys again, and I’ll post a few more in a few days! Congrats, he’s beautiful!

I met this sweet family over the weekend at the Crystal Springs Rhododendron Garden in SE Portland. This was my first time shooting there, and in 70 degree weather in April! Talk about gorgeous. I wasn’t the only photographer with the same great idea, either. This was a very high-energy session, the kids were excited, but not necessarily excited to sit still for the crazy lady with the big black thing in their faces, they really just wanted to run around and see the ducks!

Mom, this was the shot I’m pretty sure you didn’t think we captured. I was so excited when I saw it downloading!

Miss Personality was singing us a song here…at least it’s eye contact, right?

This guy was a ball of energy!

This was the one and only full family shot, and lucky for me I just happened to press the shutter at the proper time because the eye contact lasted only a second!

One of the few couples shots we managed while mom and dad were keeping their eye on the kids!

At the end, we even snuck onto the golf course for a quick shot, and only had about 1 minute before the sun dipped behind the hills!

A few fun snaps from egg dying yesterday! The kids took this very, very seriously, so I was really only able to get a few shots with eye-contact.

Also sad to report our outdoor egg hunt didn’t happen due to rain! The eggs were a little smashed up after the dying anyway, so we did it in the house and it was a big success!!

I didn’t get a chance to meet this sweet little angel until she was already 4 weeks old. I tried to get her to sleep for me, but as soon as I put her down she was wide awake and bright eyed, so I went with it. She is one of the best behaved little babies I’ve ever met, she hardly made a peep the entire time we were there! She is the first child of this gorgeous mama-to-be, remember her?

I didn’t get any sleepy shots, but got some great eye contact and with a hint of a smile even!

I’m finishing up proofing this session from this fun couple, and I just had to share a few more.

Wow, I’ve been busy. It’s been almost a week since I met this adorable couple and I am just now managing to get a sneak peak up! Hopefully as I wrap up this all-consuming project for the preschool my schedule will get back to normal!

I loved meeting this couple, you could just feel the love between them! Despite being a bit hectic due to my schedule, it was a very fun shoot and I cannot get over how glowing and lovely she looks in each and every photo. Not to mention that perfectly adorable belly.

I just love this one with the hands.

We had a seriously beautiful evening to work with, and lucky for me they lived across from one of my favorite shooting locations.

I couldn’t resist a little fun with flare. Think maybe I’m obsessed with sunflare because I was born in the sun, but now live in such a rainy climate?
